I finally worked out how to do links!! And it only took me three months! I don't have many yet (I just did a quick test run). But I will. Oh, yes, I will ...
I'll also try and put up photos again soon. I've just been kinda busy, and we're out of batteries for H's digital camera. But I know that you guys love the pictures, so I'll get onto that before Christmas sometime.

No worries! Returning a favour, in a way.
Hi! Heather's friend Andrea in Boca. I am so excited about the marriage plans and about meeting you late this year. Your blog is like reading a great novel but it is Heather's and your life in your "voice" so even better. Your coming out story reminds me of my great friend Donald's. He shiny well-brushed hair down past his butt and long fingernails and moved like a (not Baryshnikov) dancer but wore a short wig whenever he saw his parents. He came out to his mother in his mid 20s, she was hardly surprised, glad he'd told her, very accepting, but of course told him not to tell his father. Nobody ever told his father. It was never mentioned out loud until his father spoke at Donald's memorial service ten years later, and thanked Donald's partner for taking such good care of his son through his illness. Donald died of AIDS 15 years ago, never knowing his father knew and accepted.
